Service Level Descriptions

Activ8me Corporate offers a range of service level solutions to suit your needs and your cost expectations.

  • Platinum
  • Gold
  • Sliver
  • Bronze (home user grade)

Platinum grade of services (GOS): is the highest level of service within the APN Bandwidth allocation. This service would be expected to have the same performance characteristics as a clear channel or 1:1 contention ratio.  In times of network congestion for any reason Platinum services will always be allocated a Committed Information Rate, (CIR) matching the Access/ Burst of the contracted plan.

i.e. If a 1MbpsTX/ 1Mbps RX service has been commissioned, a CIR of 1 Mbps TX/ 1Mbps RX will be provisioned.

Gold grade of services: In times of network congestion for any reason Gold services will always be allocated a Committed Information Rate, (CIR) 10:1 of the contracted plan.

i.e. If a 1MbpsTX/ 1Mbps RX service has been commissioned, a CIR of 100Kbps TX/ 100Kbps RX will be provisioned.

Silver grade of services: In times of network congestion for any reason Silver services will always be allocated a Committed Information Rate, (CIR) 20:1 of the contracted plan.

i.e.  If a 1MbpsTX/ 1Mbps RX service has been commissioned, a CIR of 50Kbps TX/ 50Kbps RX will be provisioned.

Business Caps don’t apply.

Business Caps: If the services is for business hours use between 9.00 to 17.00 and you’re happy for APN to block P2P type applications, then will apply a further 30% discount on your nominated plan. After 17.00 Sydney time CIR will not be honoured. Service expectation should be that of a 512/256Kbps service plan.
